Hawaiʻi Cancer Consortium

The Hawaiʻi Cancer Consortium (HCC) is the cornerstone for orchestrating fundamental, translational, and clinical research in oncology. Spearheaded by the UH Cancer Center—an NCI-designated facility—the Consortium strives to enhance cancer outcomes for residents of Hawaiʻi as well as those in the broader Pacific Rim region.

This collaborative network comprises various healthcare and community partners. The consortium membership includes Adventist Health Castle, Hawaiʻi Medical Service Association (HMSA), Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, Kuakini Medical Center, The Queen's Health System, and UH Mānoa's John A. Burns School of Medicine. Our partners are crucial in advancing our collective quest to alleviate the cancer burden via patient-focused clinical research and care. In addition, the Cancer Center maintains a strong community presence, relying extensively on its partner network to effectively administer clinical trials and provide high-quality cancer care.

Mission
