Pacific Islands Cohort on Cardiometabolic Health (PICCAH): A Cohort for Studying the Burden of Cardiometabolic Diseases in Guam and Pohnpei

The PICCAH Study’s aims to build the infrastructure for a longitudinal cohort focused on cardiometabolic risk (CR) in two U.S. Affiliated Pacific Islands (USAPI) jurisdictions (Guam and Pohnpei). The NSSR assisted with dietary data collection and data entry training, support, and data review for quality control for 24-hour dietary recall data collection among adults and children in Palau and Pohnpei, and the 2-day food log and 24-hour dietary recall data entry for children in Guam.
